Bio

Writing Journey

Adella Quick has been writing and telling stories since she was a young child. Writing poems, songs, and short stories as a child and teen was one outlet for her creativity and emotions. Now, as an adult, Adella enjoys writing short stories and poems in her limited spare time as a wife and homeschooling mother to two. She is also currently working on a novel with the goal to publish it in the future.

Aphotic Love
An Anthology on the Depths of Romance
Compiled by Effie Joe Stock

May 2022

Love is often depicted as light, joyful, fun, exciting, carefree ...
But there is also a darker side to love-a deeper, frightening, desperate, tragic side.
Dare to dive deep into this raw, emotional collection of short stories, prose, and poems which strives to expose the lightless side of tragedy, heartbreak, desperation, and love.
